The clubs
holds regular training sessions for both seniors and juniors.
Seniors Training
Tuesdays & Fridays at 6:00pm from South Dartmoor Leisure Center,
Ivybridge.
During the summer Tuesday sessions consist of a run of between 6 &
10 miles
around the South Hams area. Friday summer runs are usually off road,
taking in Dartmoor, Longtimber
& Stowford Woods.
In the winter Tuesday runs are shorter and stay in the lit areas of
Ivybridge.
Fridays sessions consist of speedwork during the winter.
Juniors Training
Under 11s - Thursdays at 6:00pm at Ivybridge Community College
Over 11s - Thursdays at 7:00pm at Ivybridge Community College
During the summer months these sessions consist of Track & Field
training.
In the winter we move inside for Sportshall training, sprints &
endurance
training is available for the Over 11s.
All training sessions are supervised by qualified UK:Athletics coaches.
Anyone is welcome to attend club training sessions, regardless or
quality
or experience. If you are interested in joining the club then come
along to a few
training sessions to find out some more
information before you join.
